WHAT IS CUMQUAT?
Cumquats, (also known as Kumquats) were previously considered a part of the Citrus genus, but are now recognized as belonging to their own genus, Fortunella. Both spellings, Cumquat and Kumquat, are considered acceptable, with Cumquat being of British origin.
